Harpers Ferry Vintage Lady Announces an All-New Shopping Experience

Harpers Ferry, WV  November 10, 2009.  The Vintage Lady, Harpers Ferry West Virginia’s sassiest jewelry and accessory store, today announced the launching of an all-new online location at www.vintageladyharpersferry.com.

Now customers can shop, get special viewings of sale items, and get unusual information from tips about cleaning jewelry to the history of their favorite gems. And, they can sign up for The Vintage Lady’s monthly newsletter to learn about special deals and even more great ideas.

“Many of our customers come from locations outside of Harpers Ferry,” says Cindi Dunn, who, with her husband Billy Ray, is proprietor of The Vintage Lady. “They love the fact that our jewelry is unique and wonderfully affordable, and want to buy it year round. We already had an online presence, but given the demand, we decided to redesign and reopen it.”

Ms. Dunn is quick to add that customers enjoy the experience of visiting the Vintage Lady, which is always fun and engaging. They also appreciate the advice the Dunns and their employees happily give them whether they’re selecting a birthday gift for a friend or buying a special treat for themselves. That same spirit is reflected in their online presence, as well…all for what Ms. Dunn summarizes as “happy prices.”

One customer, Ashley Jones, a student at Shepherd University, reports a typical customer experience. “I just happened to be in Harpers Ferry one day last summer and walked into The Vintage Lady,” she says. “I loved the selection: they have jewelry, clothes and all sorts of surprises from all around the world. So you can imagine how surprised I was that I could afford it! I even bought a pair of earrings for my mother!”

West Virginia native Cindi Dunn began her career in the jewelry and accessory business almost 15 years ago when she began selling pins she designed from old costume jewelry, antique buttons, watch parts, and other collectibles. After selling her work in states throughout the Mid Atlantic she and her husband Billy Ray Dunn officially left their jobs as educators and moved to Harpers Ferry full time. As for The Vintage Lady: she can be seen in her signature lime green garb online and at the Harpers Ferry store.

For more information, contact Cindi or Billy Ray Dunn at vinjewelry@aol.com or call (304) 535-1313. You can visit them at their new, online home at www.vintageladyharpersferry.com.
