I think “spring has sprung” here in Harpers Ferry…..and I must admit….I’ve been feelin’ groovy! It was 1966 when Simon and Garfunkel made us all smile with that tune…..and here it is, 44 years later…..and it still makes us smile! Somtimes, you just need to slow down….make things last….enjoy the sunshine and the flowers. But….if you find that you just can’t do that…the VL can help! The past few days here in Harpers Ferry make me think that Spring is actually close! There are still lots of patches of snow….but it may still be here for the 4th of July! I love this Tree of Life pendant…as it reminds me of how strong we all have been to have made it through this winter!

Harpers Ferry in a blizzard!

After this weekend’s snow – I never would have believed that we could get even MORE snow! But….we did! It has been blizzard like all day…blowing and drifting snow…more accumulations….HEY, wait a minute – I sound like I am on the Weather Channel…maybe that is because it is on here all the time! Hope everyone stays safe and warm! However, I am pretty sure that we will still have snow in June!

Oh the weather outside is frightful!!!!!

Well….we have 26″ so far….and it is STILL snowing! And…more snow is predicted for Tuesday!

Well, here in HF the snow has started! Predictions are crazy….so I am saying that we will be getting “1000″ inches….that way I am covered! The shop isn’t open….even the national park is closed! However….the online shop is ALWAYS open and I just put up some beautiful pendants called “Positive Quotations” – handmade in the USA! Don’t forget Valentines Day!

Here we are on Tybee Island….enjoying our January vacation! A little chilly I must admit…but not as bad as up north! We walked on the beach with coats on…but the sun was beautiful and energizing! The VL even checked out the sand and surf….livin’ on Tybee Time!
